We are changing what happens after someone uploads a resume. That shift is bigger than a new name or website.

What we learned

Traditional job platforms often ask candidates to repeat the same information for every opening. Recruiters, meanwhile, receive applications that are hard to compare. A resume may be polished, but it rarely answers the specific question a hiring manager has today. We started with UmEmployed to address screening friction. Building Deligon is our decision to address an earlier problem: how qualified people become discoverable in the first place.

A profile that stays useful

In the Deligon model, a candidate onboards once, saves a structured profile, and keeps it current. The resume is a starting point, not the entire story. Skills, work history, preferences, and validation results help form a richer picture. When someone learns a new tool or completes a project, the profile can evolve instead of waiting for another job application.

Recruiter search becomes a conversation

Imagine a recruiter typing: “Find operations analysts with SQL, forecasting experience, and a preference for hybrid work.” Instead of assembling a complex search query and reading every resume, the recruiter can ask a conversational assistant to identify relevant profiles and explain the match. The recruiter still decides whom to contact and how to assess fit.

Why validation matters

A claimed skill and a demonstrated skill are not the same thing. Deligon is designed to give candidates opportunities to validate abilities during onboarding and refresh that evidence over time. We recommend weekly skill practice or validation where relevant, especially when someone is actively looking for job. Fresh evidence may improve how accurately a profile matches future searches; it cannot guarantee views, interviews, or offers.

What comes next

Our aim is not to replace human recruiting. It is to reduce repeated data entry and make the first conversation more informed. We are building toward a marketplace where candidates maintain a living professional profile and recruiters describe the outcomes they need. That is the transition from UmEmployed to Deligon.

How Deligon fits

For candidates, Deligon is designed to turn a one-time resume upload into an evolving profile. For recruiters, it is intended to make talent discovery conversational and grounded in skill evidence. Explore the direction at Deligon.com.
